Wyatt Fisher Obituary: 18-Year-Old Ohio Firefighter Dies Following Motorcycle Crash in Clermont County

Wyatt Fisher Obituary, CLERMONT COUNTY, OHIO — Wyatt Fisher, an 18-year-old firefighter from Blanchester, Ohio, has died after suffering critical injuries in an off-duty motorcycle crash in Clermont County. His passing has left family, friends, fellow first responders, students, and the wider community mourning the loss of a young man remembered for his dedication to public service and compassionate spirit.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Monday, July 6, along State Route 131 near Dry Run Road. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Fisher was riding his motorcycle eastbound when he collided with the rear of a 2017 Ford Escape that had slowed because of traffic conditions. The impact caused the motorcycle to cross the center line into the westbound lanes, where it struck a stopped Volkswagen Routan.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported Fisher to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite extensive lifesaving efforts by medical personnel, he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not released information regarding the occupants of the other vehicles or whether anyone else was injured in the collision.

Fisher proudly served as a firefighter with the Stonelick Township Fire Department, where colleagues described him as a selfless public servant whose compassion, humility, and commitment to helping others made a lasting impact on the department and the community. In a statement, the department said his unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void among those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

In addition to his role with the Stonelick Township Fire Department, Fisher was a cadet with Wayne Township Fire and EMS. He was also a recent graduate of Clermont Northeastern Schools and had accepted a position as an assistant coach for the school’s boys’ soccer team. School officials honored his legacy, remembering him as an outstanding young man whose leadership, character, and passion for serving others positively influenced students, athletes, and the broader community.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Officials have not yet announced whether any additional contributing factors played a role in the collision as the investigation remains ongoing.
