Adam Snyder Obituary, HANOVER, PENNSYLVANIA — A 20-year-old Hanover man tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a trailer being towed through a busy intersection in Hanover Borough, according to local authorities.
The fatal collision occurred at approximately 5:13 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the intersection of Carlisle Street and Eisenhower Drive. Officers with the Hanover Borough Police Department, along with firefighters and emergency medical personnel, responded to reports of a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a trailer.
According to preliminary findings released by investigators, the victim was operating a 2017 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle when it struck a trailer being pulled by a 2006 Chevrolet 3500 pickup truck. Authorities identified the pickup truck’s driver as Adam Snyder of New Oxford. Despite the swift response from emergency crews, the motorcyclist sustained catastrophic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the York County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said the victim died from blunt force trauma suffered during the collision. As of Wednesday, authorities had not publicly released the identity of the deceased, explaining that notification of the victim’s next of kin was still in progress.
